All STROH's Open
Background and Details
The Tournament Formerly Known as Muni Tour Championship makes a triumphant return to Brenham CC for year four! Same great Single Round Quota format, same fun, somewhat funky, golf course!
Why the new name? Well, at the inception of this whole merry band of STROH’s, we linked together the Muni Tour Regular Season and the Muni Tour Championship, an ode to the FedEx Cup Playoffs. The idea was to incentivize MTC participation by providing a bonus to high finishing players, in the form of a quota reduction for the top 3 Muni Tour finishers. This has not had a significant impact on the tournament, and the linking of the two led to confusion amongst players as to the impact the regular season had on the tournament, or whether they were eligible to play if they hadn’t posted regular season Muni Tour rounds, so we decided to break this link and let the event stand on its own.
Omar Mujahid will return as All STROH’s Open Czar
Where/When
The 2025 All STROH’s Open will return to Brenham Country Club in Brenham, TX on May 3rd 2025. It is currently planned to be an 830am Shotgun, but this may be subject to change.

The All STROH’s Open is played as a Single-Round Quota event, where the player who beats their quota by the most points (or comes closest to their quota if no one beats it), is crowned our champion!
A player’s Quota is 36 minus their course handicap (where handicaps are locked and calculated on the Monday prior to the event). A player with a Course Handicap of 10 would have a quota of 26pts.
Points are awarded for GROSS scores thusly:

- Eagle: 8pts
- Birdie: 4pts
- Par: 2pts
- Bogey: 1pts
